A day at the museum

At the National History Museum in London – It was a rainy day and once inside the Museum I felt as if I’d travelled back in time.

The Naturkundemuseum in Berlin has the longest dinosaur skeleton on display.

At the Natural History Museum in London I met this nice guy. He’s a herbivore and he’s rather huge. And dead.

Another favourite thing of mine: visiting museums. I can spend hours there, looking at the displays, the paintings, exhibits, and reading the info signs. If you care for your sanity: never let me visit a museum with you. You’ll never get out of it in less than three hours. Three different films, two different museums:

  1. Ilford HP 5 4o0 black/white film with Pentacon Six at the Natural History Museum in London on a rainy May day
  2. Agfa CT Precisa 100 colour reversal film cross processed with Canon AV-1 at the Naturkundemuseum in Berlin
  3. Agfa RSX 200 colour reversal film cross processed with Pentacon Six at the Natural History Museum in London prior to the evacuation due to a false fire alarm.

  1. Natural History is just the greatest, but the V&A is my favourite – the variety, the building and the shop (yes, really!) are just amazing. But you could never get as awesome a picture like yours up here. Stunning stuff.
